Lasting Powers of Attorney and Applications to the Court of Protection

A Lasting Power of Attorney allows the chosen representative to make decisions when the donor is incapable of looking after their own personal, financial or business affairs.

Wright & Co offers a fixed-fee service for making and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney, whether for property and financial affairs or personal welfare. We will take you through the requirements of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the legal requirements and obligations necessary. We even provide a certified copy of the registered Power as part of our service, allowing you to easily register the Power with banks, building societies and other financial institutions.

In situations where an individual has already lost the mental capacity necessary to make a Lasting Power of Attorney, we can advise on alternatives that will assist their carer in managing their property and affairs.
